Shingle Roofing: New Roof and Repair

Whether you need to repair or replace, we can help. Mr.Roof is certified to install most shingle manufacturer’s systems and can really handle any size project - large or small. Typically we will complete an entire apartment building in one day. Crew size ranges from a single repair tech, to a 5 man crew for the typical rental home, and our 200 man crew for the really big jobs.

Flat Roofs

Mr.Roof is certified by most roofing manufacturers. That list contains the following types of roof:

  • Rubber - EPDM rubber, typically black in color and has a very successful track record- very economical and long lasting
  • TPO - considered a single ply membrane, this white thermoplastic membrane features heat welded seams and is relatively economical to install
  • PVC - considered a single ply membrane, this white thermoplastic membrane features heat welded seams and is relatively economical to install, though, typically not as economical as TPO, but , is perfect for restaurant application because of its unique properties where grease is an issue
  • Built up & SBS - these are asphalt roofs and are good choices when there is heavy foot traffic on a roof.
  • Roof coating - There are a number of roof coatings available and there is a unique application for each. Some coatings can waterproof your roof, such as a liquid rubber, for 10 years or longer. While other coatings are designed to simply reflect Ultra Violet rays that can destroy a perfectly good roof. And, some coatings are designed to fix leaks on existing flat and low sloped metal roofs as well as asphalt and rubber roofs.

This patented roofing system is typically available in any of the membranes listed above. The advantage with EQUALIZER is that this is a “vented roof” system- so it allows the building owner to install this roof over the existing flat roof saving the expense, dirt, noise, risk, and inconvenience of tear off. As well, this roof is available in a seamless membrane system - when you remove seams you typically remove any chance of roof leaks. EQUALIZER is perfect for large roofs such as warehouses and office buildings, but, is great for smaller projects, too.

Yes, we can install one window or door for you … but, we can also replace a 1000 windows and doors for you without a single complaint from a resident…we do it all the time. We recommend and specialize in vinyl replacement windows, but, aluminum and wood are no problem. A pattern of 1-5/8 inch holes are drilled
through the sunken slab.
A grout mixture is pumped under the
slab with our specialized equipment.
Once any void is filled, the grout becomes pressurized, hydraulically raising the slab
to the desired height.
The holes are patched using a
concrete mixture.

With Concrete lifting - also known as slab jacking, we can eliminate step hazards, sinking porches and steps at your properties. If your concrete is sinking, there is a very good possibility that the concrete slab was installed on poorly compacted fill dirt. Sub-surface erosion and shrinking soils are also possibilities.

You should not have to replace concrete because often time we can float a slab back to its original position by pumping a mixture of sand, cement, fly ash, and other additives beneath your slab.

We simply drill strategically placed holes into the slab. Using a portable pump and flexible hoses, they fill these holes with the special mixture. Lifting a slab using this method can often be accomplished in a few hours. Often the cost to perform this service is less than half that of replacing a new slab.

There are numerous benefits to slabjacking.

  • It can be done in virtually any weather. The material injected beneath the slab provides a strong base.
  • There is little or no disruption to landscaping.
  • Nothing needs to be moved off the slab, as the pump can lift the weight of the slab and anything you have
