As we have said before we here at Mr. Roof love food! So over this past weekend we had the opportunity to be involved in a food festival In North Carolina, called the Chatham Street Chowdown in Cary North Carolina. This food truck rodeo brings out the best food trucks in the state as well as some great local live music. We were lucky enough to snag a booth spot right in the thick of the food trucks, we were happily placed between the Pho Nomenal Dumpling Truck and Fullsteam Brewery.
We absolutely love going to these types of events, where we can interact with the people in our community and get our name out there, while also having tons of fun and getting to eat great food. This weekend we had tons of fun trying all sorts of different cuisines, and being able to speak with our old and new friends in the community. It is always so much fun meeting new people and helping people with their roofing, siding, gutters, and masonry questions.
We had a great time eating all sorts of great food this weekend, some of our favorites were: Pho Nomenal Dumpling Truck, Mac-Ur-Roni, Only Burger, The Cookie People, and Little Dipper’s Italian Ice. Not only was there food at this festival, we also got to enjoy plenty of local musicians throughout the day, and our booth was close to the stage so we could see and hear them all day.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us to at our booth, we hope everyone had fun at this awesome event we know that we did. If you missed this Chatham Street Chowdown don’t worry because there be two more this year, one July 31st and another on October 2nd.
